I'm sorry you got hurt again.

The fact that he allowed you to buy his ticket, that he doesn't even have $258 to his name, all bad.

I hope you can use the ticket yourself to go on a vacation somewhere. You may have to pay something to change it but the airline should give you some credit.

Try to remember that the reason you haven't met a partner is that the universe hasn't put an appropriate, emotionally available person in your path.
