I have a brother...like your son. He uses people, in general. My mom, my other brothers, and when my dad was alive....my dad...but when you have nothing he wants..you don't hear from him. He is a jerk. We love him, he is blood, but we don't allow him to use us...anymore. Like Gem said, there are just people that have that type of personality...it is not personal...just people that feel an "entitlement".

I agree with getting out of the tenancy...get your name off anything...that involves him. But go easy....because as you have said..he has alot to learn and he has learned to need you...

I don't know what to think of his statement to you..only that you both have grown so much...and though it may be hard for him to accept...he has to learn to be independent as well.
