Subject: I did something different......I was on TV

I have never ever done this before....but I was flipping through the channels the other night and I stopped on our local Christian channel. There was a show starting called "Ask the Pastor". There was a panel of 5 pastors, one pentacostal, one muslim, one non denominational, one baptist, and one who was hispanic but I don't know his denomination. There was a telephone number to call if you had a question. For some reason........I grabbed the phone and had had a burning question that my priest never answered, so I thought these guys could. My question made it on the air!!!!!!!! So I was on TV for about 15 seconds.

If you are wondering what my question was, it was this:
If someone has a mental or chronic illness are there any scriptures that they can read and hang on to during the dark times when you can't feel God's presence?

I got a variety of answers, and the pentacostal pastor went into prayer. The lady who took my call also prayed over me. I got many scriptures that I can read and absorb when I don't feel well. Catholics don't really use the bible at all....so it was nice to get input from other
denominations. Everyone said it was an excellent question..

Mike got home with groceries and I told him what I did...his response was "isn't there something better you could be doing with your time?" LOLOLOLOL

Anyway, felt good for a minute or two.

Love, Mikki
