I had a 'first' conversation with a neighbor the other day. She saw me out with Pain & Pest. She just had put her 20 year of age cat to sleep. She sounded so sad. Her surviving cat misses her sibling also. Pain & Pest are about 11 years of age. They are still full of energy. They are my buddies. Even with the way I feel about death… a continuation of life… I wonder how tough it will be for me when they pass on.

My heart goes out to you Mikki… I sure wish you had much more good stuff in your life to help balance out the different kinds of pain you experience.
