It is so hard to lose a pet...I still think of when I had to put my little Shayman to sleep...but he was suffering so much. I think people who do not have pets, will never under the grief that we suffer when we lose these special parts of our family...a pets love is so unconditional.

I know for me...it took a long time to make the decision...and for my mom it was harder.

There are places on the web to place a memorial...write a story and include pictures...when you feel you can.

My friends lost their dog..a beautiful lab...after many years with them...and they had him cremated...and had an urn with his picture on it..I thought that was a great way to preserve their pet...they have already said that when they both pass...all their ashes will be spread together.

I know that this is too soon to discuss any of this with you, but when you are ready, there are so many ways to keep your loved one with you...

Love and hugs
Rhonda
