No Sandy......you are not stupid by any means. You have a soft heart like most of us here. You want to see the good in people, and unfortunately some of those people will kick you in the teeth when they get a chance. That doesn't make you stupid.....you are the strong one. It takes alot to forgive someone, it is very hard. If that person isn't worthy of your forgiveness, then (excuse the language) fuck them.

I'm going through that with my mom right now. We are not speaking after the altercation at Thanksgiving. I have no forgiveness for her yet, and I don't think it will be coming soon. She has hurt me since I was a child.....berated me, called me names, called Sarah horrible things....I can't forgive that anymore. I used to just take it all in, and I'd get depressed and go in the hospital. Not anymore. If she has something to say to me, then she can call me. I'm not calling her anymore. No more forgiveness.......again excuse the language, fuck her.
I am my own person who does the best she can, and if she can't handle it .......then she doesn't need to be in my life.

But you are not stupid....don't think that for a minute.
