It was great that you asked...and that your son is to be made welcome.

I got a break today...Lorne took Dayel out for the afternoon, so that I could get things wrapped and hidden...and put together (we got her a little kids scooter)...I had to put it together, break down the box...and hide it amongst recyclable stuff...LOL.

I then, had to wrap all the rest of the presents...and hide them....I always buy different wrapping paper...for "Santa" gifts...some stuff, I don't wrap..it is just there for her to wake up to...I also had to find some batteries for a couple of gifts...and make sure that the toys are easy to get into...for a 4 year old...

With relatives and friends sending so much...and some sending money...I had a lot of shopping to do...but it was fun...she is a great kid...

I do feel bad for Ali though...Lornes side of the family...is smaller and they don't think to send anything for Ali....so I try to make up for it...

But other than that...it should be a really cool day, I am making the dinner here and my sister and her family are coming over...we bought a small turkey and ham..so there will not be too many leftovers...I like one day of leftovers and that is it!

I think maybe...I am going to have an ok day....

Rhonda...your positive postings...have made a big difference to my state of mind this holiday...I was really feeling pressure...of depression for awhile...then came and read over your postings and it made a world of difference in my outlook on life....
