Yes, I do think we can do some reverse damage control after bad choices, although I don't really believe there are bad choices as much as learning experiences.

Remember though, I spent a lot of years in a failed marriage because I felt like "I had made my my bed and now I had to lie in it." I felt trapped and like there was no way out that wouldn't create as much hurt to others as it might save me.

But eventually I came to believe that my happiness was just as important as everyone else's.
