Subject: Getting capitalistic...

I sure wish there were more activity in this forum. I miss the gang posting.

Last Thursday, I made my goal of doing four trips riding my bike around the lake at the park. Three trips is near 15 miles; 4 trips is near 33 miles. I was going just a couple of miles past three trips for a couple of times out. I got to the turn around point for this and I just kept going. I felt good at the end. I was not exhausted, just well worked out. I only walked two miles though. I have a few days off now due to rainy weather.

I have come down with an viral infection in my thyroid. I went to the doc today thinking something was up with my short bowel syndrome. I was kinda glad that it was just a normal viral thing that anybody can get. I do not feel very bad now. I felt symptoms beginning last Friday and viral length of time is about 7 to 10 days.

Guess what. Okay, I will share with you. I am getting capitalistic. I applied for a home mortgage today. The Mortgage Consultant said he was sure I would get approve. My income affords me a condominium or townhouse. It will be nice to be putting my rent money into an investment rather than just giving it to the landlord. I figure I gave my landlord near $11,000 in the last 18 months. I will probably not outlive a 30 mortgage. However, I can always sell the property and realize a profit. Then, I would rather give the money to my children than to the landlord.

That is it,<br><img src="http://www.richarddw.net/faces/s-smilelyface.gif" align="absmiddle">
