You are depressed because a big part of your marriage is missing. It's something that is important to a marriage.
My hubby and I are the same way, but it is because of me that we don't make love anymore. Mike and I have deep seated communication problems, and I just don't have it in me to be intimate with him. I just feel used because he won't talk to me, but he will have sex with me. I get pretty resentful.

Can you go to a counselor on your own? To sort out the pieces of your marriage that you yourself could work on to feel better about it. I know all about staying for the kids, and divorce isn't pretty. It would be very hard for you to work full time and raise the kids alone. That is what is keeping you there. I said the same thing, once Sarah turns 18 I'm out of here.....but she has now turned 18 and I'm still here. I've settled....I don't want any other man in my life. I can do what I want, I have money, but I've lost all self respect. Depression? You bet.

I totally understand.
