I have always wanted to find and restore a 1976 red and white Gran Torino. That was the car my dad had and that was the car that I learned to drive with, and looked damn cool in. It looked just like the Starsky and Hutch car..remember that show? All the "cool" kids drove Gran torinos, and we would all park our cars together in the school parking lot and be cool. I had my first sexual encounter in that car....I drove it when we would go "crusing" on Friday nights. I drove the hell out of that car.....and I felt normal in it. If I could find one somewhere, I would love to restore it and have back some of those great memories.

I regret that my dad sold it when it rusted out. I regret that I haven't really looked very hard to try to find one somewhere....I never wanted to play the piano, I'd much rather play with a 350 Cleveland engine...that car had power!!!!!!!!!

Love, Mikki
