Well, one way to avoid it is to have a woman therapist.

Mikki, sometimes you have to let things go, unresolved issues and all. Life doesn't always give us an explanation.

Let your new Pdoc or Tdoc handle any necessary contacts with his office, should there be any.

Time will mend you, but it will mend you faster if you stop having any sort of contact with him. Just because he calls you doesn't mean you should call him back.

It does sound like he is sick and has plenty of his own issues and is deliberately trying to hurt you.

He is toxic for you and if you haven't sent the letter, don't. Even a claim with the state just draws out the engagement.

I know you'd rather fight it, but this is really just like any other relationship gone sour. Take the high road. Keep your pride and dignity intact.

It won't kill you in the end. You are stronger than that. The best revenge is living well.
