I have always said that if I could go back in time, I would go back to being 30. I hated the angst of my 20's, trying to establish a career, raise my daughter, buy a house and learn to pay for it.....when I was 30, I was happy. I wasn't sick then yet, I just graduated from college which I worked damn hard to get. Things in my life and my career were going well. Marriage was shaky, but it has always been that way.

I turned 40 last August, I will soon be 41. Im having the hot flashes, periods coming too soon apart, moodiness, and an incredible addiction to chocolate. I am depressed most of the time, I hate my life and I wonder what I could have done differently to make myself happier. What a difference 10 years make.

You are not alone in your thoughts. I know that you are a beautiful, capable woman who can do whatever she wants. If you give me a date for your breakdown, let me know, and I will join you. My breakdown is close......and I am trying to hold it together. Know that you are not alone......
