I totally understand what you're saying. There have been sooooo many times that I wanted to just jump in my car and run away but I didn't know where to run to, how I'd live or where I'd stay if I got there.

I think I've given up on changing too much. There are certain things about myself I want to change but my basic personality was formed long ago and some things are just the way I am and I don't think I can change. Right now I've given up on finding a relationship because I honestly don't know if I have it in me to have to adjust to someone else being around, sharing my space and the give and take that goes along with the whole process. Maybe I'm just getting old and set in my ways, or maybe I'm selfish. I don't know but for now I just want to figure out what I want instead of always conforming to what someone else wants.

Anyway, I do understand what you're saying. I hope you feel better soon.
