Subject: Our house is going to be packed

Next Wednesday, our foreign exchange student from Austraila is arriving for the summer. Her name is Lyndsey, and she will be staying with us til the end of August. I am looking forward to it, however, I don't know how we are going to keep her occupied. Sarah is getting a job for the summer, and Mike and I have to work. I will be working close to full time because of my coworker that has cancer, so I am not going to be around much. I am trusting that Sarah has plans for them. It is going to be weird having another teenager in my house. Her mother is coming as well, and will be staying with us for 10 days.

I have no place for mom to sleep other than my yucky couch that the dogs sleep on. I offered to put her and Lyndsey in a hotel not too far from here so she will be comfortable at night, but she said the couch was fine with her. I think she wants to check us out big time before she leaves Lyndsey with us. So now I really have to clean my pigsty of a house. I have clutter everywhere....and it is gonna take all 3 of us to get this house in shape. Lyndsey is gonna figure out soon enough how we live, but I want to make a good impression on her mom. So clean I go....I'm tempted to call Molly maid and have them come in and do it. I get tired easily now, and there is too much to do.

So I will have 5 people, 2 dogs and their pens,a cat, 4 fish, and a rat living in my house. Yikes!!!!!!!

I think it will be fun though. It will be nice to learn of a different culture, and watch Lyndsey learn about ours. I think both her and her mother are going to be shocked. So I have 6 days to get everything in order. Wish me luck.
