I called a suicide hotline once, way back when I first got sick. I called the number, actually a person answered it, and I freaked out and hung up on him. Within 30 seconds, he called me back.....he had caller ID. Caller ID wasn't really even around then, so I couldn't figure out how he was able to call me back. I ended up talking to him for a while, and he encouraged me to call my doctor, which I did. I ended up in the hospital the next day. So I did get a person. I don't understand how a suicide hotline could have voice mail????? That's like being put on hold for 911.

Are you ok?????? If you had to call and all......
