Been there twice...love the country and the people...but like any country there are the good and bad eggs...but it was such a wonderful experience...You may find yourself picking up on the accent before long...and using it in your day...
The last time we had an exchange student in our house, I was in highschool...it was a great experience...we loved it. And we didn't have too much free time to plan, as the school had activities for the students...it was great. But we did take him on sightseeing tours and to our local haunts. It seemed to be enough.
