That is wonderful that you are doing this for your brother. It sounds like he has been through hell and back. I don't know what your map plan consists of, but if you go through upstate New York, you can cross into Canada I think somewhere down the line (I'm thinking Niagra Falls some where). If you go through Canada, you will eventually reach the Blue Water Bridge back to the US. It is actually faster than traveling to Michigan via the US. If you did that, you would only be 60 miles away from my house, and I could meet you in Port Huron. You both would be welcome to stay at my house for a night to rest before you continued on your way to Phoenix. Just a thought......I'd love to meet you someday. Like I said...I don't know what your travel itinerary includes, but it's an option if you want to take a break in Michigan..........
