It's prob a strategy that the Refs Appts are using to tst out some of the up'n'comers early in the season to see how they go before the business end. Not a bad one as we get to see the squad a bit more other than the usual 2 or 3.

Given last weekends performances, you would expect some changes anyway. I thought the officiating in the Manly/Souths games was pretty inconsistent, esp in the ruck area (the Manly winger should have been binned IMO).
