Everyone called them husband and wife (or wife and husband, depending on your preferences) anyways, so it's now official! On Christmas Eve, 2003, Douglas proposed to Sonia, after dating over three and a half years... It's about damn time! We haven't set a date yet, however, we're tentatively looking at either July or August of 2005. Overheard (Feb 21st, 2004)... while Sonia was talking to her mom... Sonia: Guess what I made for dinner last night? Jambalaya! Mom: You cooked it or Doug did? Sonia: I cooked! Mom: I made Chicken Cacciatore. Haven't had that in a while. Sonia: I just told Doug what you said, and he's STILL laughing at me! Sonia: Thanks a LOT, Mom! Sonia: See, now, he's going to post this on our wedding website! Mom: Well, he's the one that I usually hear doing the fancy cooking. (Meanwhile, all you can hear is Douglas just going through fits of laughter...) Overheard today... while Sonia was talking on the phone to a friend... Sonia (to her friend): Girl, did you see Beyonce? Douglas (in the background): Hubba hubba hubba.
