Saying so, he carves out a slab of meat and pretty much tosses it to Ayrist, grinning. Then, flipping the carcass over with his tail, he carves up the other muscular haunch (after Asai has eaten hers, of course) and slides it towards the Lepunihorn family. After doing so and spending his very limited reserve of strength, he settles back on his haunches near the kill and begins to groom himself, tongue washing the tasty 'Ben blood from his somewhat scraggly fur. At Asai's question, he inadvertantly coughs, swinging his head up to peer at the temporary-Korat. "No blood relation," he answers in a carefully neutral voice, returning his attention to cleansing his fur. He'll let Ayrist elaborate if she wants to.*
