they contacted me in OCT of 2003. they made themselves out to be a credit repair co. saying that in 6mo my credit would be good. i was never told it was a catolog credit card, i never would've accepted if i had known. i foolishly gave them all my banking info. 2mo later i receive the "credit card" and catolog . my huband was furious and said to call and cancel. when i finally got a hold of them they said they couldn't refund my money. i had to purchase items in their catalog . i tried telling them that i was never told it was a catalog credit card, they then produced a recorded conversation to back their claim. the salesperson did say it was a catalog credit card but it was so fast that i didn't catch it. to top it off the "recorded" conversation was actually the middle-end of the actual conversation. they covenianttly forgot to record the part where i specificly asked if it was an actual credit card and the salesperson assuring me that it was.this has made my life hell. at ever arguement my husband and i get into my stupidity about this farce is brought up and thrown in my face! i am so glad to find out am not alone.i've have felt so stupid and dumb ever this happened. if a class action suit does come to light i would love to be part of it.i'll even testify if need be. i don't want any onelse to go through what i went through.
