It's a catalog card that allows you only to purchase items from a catalog they send you. Then they take out a ton of "fees" from your bank account. If you try to cancel, they will continue to withdraw money from your account. If you change your account, they give you tons of bad ratings on your credit report. Just so you know how serious this is, one bad rating (such as a late payment on a card) will totally screw up your credit for like, the next 5 years or so. I've been reading up on this number because they called me a while back (I missed the call and did not call back). So far I've gathered that the artist behind the scam is named Steven Raykher. He's 28 years old from St. Petersburg, Florida. He has purchased three $$$$$$ homes and at least ten new vehicles with the money that he has stolen from people, including a new Cadillac Escalade. Other business names he has used for this scam are NACS, PMC, NA, NT, NC, LD, ME, NS, PH, AC, SV, LGS, AL. If any of these show up on your caller ID, and try to sell you a scam like a credit card or credit repair service, tell them to go F*** themselves. And for a future reference, you never EVER will have to give your bank account number and ESPECIALLY not your routing number to receive a credit card. The most any respectible credit card company will ever ask of you (as far as banking goes) is the name of your financial institution. But they will never ask for numbers. The information about Mr. Raykher is from BBB. If you cancel and they continue to take your money, I suggest you find a lawyer.
