Goodness! Thanks for responding, but I started looking around for whomever you were talking about. Infinite wisdom?

On the CFL front. Here's something additional on the Ti-Cats "TC" logo. I've located game action photos that show
them wearing it prior to the Grey Cup game. In both photos they are playing Ottawa, one home and one in Ottawa. However, in 1965 they played a two game series with Ottawa for the east division championship, a home and home series. I don't have anything that says these two photos are from those two games, although I suspect they are. Meaning them did wear the TC for more than the Cup, but we still don't know if they wore it for any regular season games. It still might have been something special for the playoffs alone.

I emailed you a number of logos, including those NFL patches, please let me know if you didn't get them and I'll re-send. There was a lot of other odd stuff as well. If Mr Habs didn't already send you a copy of the Ottawa horse and rider logo I can send one. It's just the logo from all those window decals you see everywhere on the net.

About the CFL hall of fame......have they improved the gift shop/store any? Last time I was there, several years ago, you could still buy Beta tapes of old Montreal team videos but not a whole lot else, unless you wanted a complete set of 1990 programs. One of the things the NFL has failed at is their promise to help the CFL with marketing. It just never happened. The new owners in Hamilton and Toronto look like they're going to pay particular attention to that area, which would be a major step forward.

I'm really likeing your AAFC section, even if it only has one team in it so far. I've got a few AAFC photos, they don't show colors, but do show helmet styles. Spec Saunders of the New York Yankees is in color, his blue helmet with a red stripe looks a lot like the Giants.

Your AFL section is also very nice, the AFL deserves to be separated from the NFL..... I still miss that league.

Library newspaper micro-film is a great research asset, anybody located in a city that had a WFL team ought to go over those pages, usually there is one or more machines that will print a xerox of whatever page you're looking at as well.

Thanks for the too-kind words. john m
