Subject: I was under the impression that interview was worth the same value as swimsuit and evening gown at Miss Louisiana. As a former pageant director, I believe it is the director's discression as to how much value each category is worth. If she wants interview to be 50%, she has the right to do so. And if contestants dont like that scoring system, they do not have to compete in her pageant. To say Jamie Roddy will not do well at Miss Louisiana is a bit naive. I've been fortunate to judge her before and I think she has a solid interview. Her swimsuit body is quite good at this time. I will say that I sometimes find her evening gowns a little off the mark though. But that is subjective and easy to remedy. Merrill is a great competitor in this system, one of my favorites... But I dont think we should take anything away from Miss Roddy for a job VERY well done.
