What is tripping me up??

I would say letting things people say or do get the best of me. Instead of letting them get me worked up and ready to explode, I need to take a deep breath and ask myself "what would Jesus want me to do". Maybe this will help me when responding because my facial expressions, body language and tone of voice will give away how angry I am right away (even if I am trying to hide it).

Here is just a little bit of what I go through on a daily basis.....
I am in a somewhat hostile work environment that makes me feel that I have to defend myself at all times. I am the manager so I have to enforce policies and procedures. However, the bad part of the situation is the fact that I have a handful of employees that think they can do no wrong and are ticking time bombs that will go off at a moments notice. Therefore I have to be on my toes to come back with the politically correct thing to say and not show too much emotion because they will use anything to bring a law suit or will try their hardest to have me fired. Then I have to deal with the GHETTO public. Today I had a girl call my store ... curse me, threaten to come beat me down (in not so nice words), accuse me of stealing a bracelet and now says she is going to file a police report on me. I just want to feel relaxed when I go to work. I really do not think I should be stressed about such trivial things.... especially when there are people who do not have jobs or have much bigger problems in their lives.

I would also say that "Letting Go and Letting God" is something else that I have a problem with. When I look back to things I have prayed for or about they seemed to work out. However, at the time I would also question when or be impatient because things didn't happen the way I planned or when I needed/ wanted them to happen. I prayed about my move to NJ and now that I am here I am not very happy, but what I need to focus on is... I wouldn't be here if God didn't want me to be.....so make the best of it.
