Honestly, the rishis "heard" the vedas and saw them. Perhaps the plural rishis is not correct. Rishi is correct. And so we have a symbolic Adam. This Adam made the Vedas. Otherwise, where was his guru?

The idea that savikalpa samadhi happens before a person finds a guru is wholly false. If you are a devotee of PY, you will know that he was given the samadhi experience by his guru by a touch on his forehead. Apparently, according to SRF, PY wasnt in nirvikalpa samadhi until 1948. Also, his early disciple Kamala, said he was in nirvikalpa samadhi only after he set up his ministry in the United States.

Also, your characterisation of the guru being a conduit for those that have only achieved savikalpa samadhi is completely wrong since the majority of seekers have the same motive, and saint francis of assisi didnt do yoga, he was a christian saint. There is just too much wrong with this view that i find it difficult to even debate.
