Vijay,

Good thinking !!

That is the whole point. When we do not like certain masters or come across controversial figures we tend to think critically and try to find the right answer with what we are given in belief system rather than totally independent observation. However, we fail to apply the same standard to the things we like or know or believe. I have been there - done that.

For example:
How many of us here have taken for granted the existance of Mahavatar Babaji ? It was probably the truth for Lahiri Mahasaya or for some people who had glimpse of Babaji - so they say. I have chanted those prayers "O my Babaji come to me come to me O! come to me ! Hours at a time and it gave me temporary peace. How many of us have taken for granted the evolution thru kriya ? I was one of those people.

Same with scriptural indoctrination.
So, the wisdom is neither in accepting nor in rejecting. Everything is as it should be for that person in that moment and place.

In the end one has to drop everything one knows and look at everything with naked awareness.

Everything that we encounter in life is a devise to go beyond and to the hightened awareness. I am neither pro or against anyone.
