H,

For the record to aid your exploration of Sant Mat history.

Kirpal DID indicate that Darshan would be his successor. A Jain Yogi, Acharya Sushil Kumar who was the co-founder of the World Fellowship of Religion with Kirpal Singh, revealed that Kirpal Singh had told him in clear terms that Darshan was to be his successor. He said that he had directly asked Kirpal who would be his successor and Kirpal said Darshan.

I met Sushil Kumar on his first US tour during 1975, he was the first Jain saint to leave and teach outside of India. He dressed in white carried the wisk and had the mask that Jain holy men wear. A rare sight in America in the mid 70's. He did not stay in the west and returned to India.
