I have talked to Roy and Leo both at length on different occasions. Roy calls Leo every Xmas time on the 23rd as that was the day he came to the ashram and met Leo. Seems that there were only 10 monks or so at that time in 1949 and most stayed close. (If they left that is.)

Of those that left the only one I know of in SRF good graces is Leo in general. I may be mistaken.

Leo likes Roy but told me "Roy always was a little weird". Leo says he is also close with Norm Paulsen. It seemed he hinted that he was closer to Norm 'because Norm has such devotion' -seemed to be his sentiment.

I know Roy to be a sincere, honest and nice man and in his mind I know he does not think of himself as equal with the 4 gurus. But some people see him as a guru and in India he would be regarded as such for giving the initiation. But then again Achalananda told me that some Indians ask him to be their guru. These people may or may not be in YSS. But everyone wants to think their guru is in the flesh.

Oliver Black pushed the line as far as a man can with SRF. He stayed a authorized minister but walked the thin ice. I need to get more info. on this man. I know one person that lived at his Song of the Morning Ranch but he did not know Oliver well. I am trying to contact a few more.

I have wondered what Oliver thinks of Kriyananda and Roy Davis.
