The main thing seems to be the CONNECTION people have (and perhaps the belief) in their teacher and this helps the energy. Perhaps it is all worked out before this birth anyway, it certainly seems that way. Eventually we all learn that all forms are the one form anyway. It is just that some people use those words regarding certain people and I was questioning it. The definitions of "avatar" in my Oxford-Hindi dictionary are (in order): 1.descent (esp. of a deity from heaven), incarnation 2. birth, apprearance in the world
For avatari (adjective) it says: 1. descending, descended, incarnate 2. possessing divine or supernatural qualities
