Bring back the illawarra pre-season competition.Make it more worthwhile for the clubs with less of a talent base (and a budget for that matter) and seed three roun-robin games so that the stronger clubs play each other and the weaker clubs play each other, then have the two teams with the best records play off for the title at WIN stadium. Have it extend to reservegrade and 18's as well. It would generate more interest in the local league than the country cup ever could. Perhaps to even up the team numbers so there are no byes in this short comp, invite one club from outside of the comp to join in.
