Jin was a psyonic, but by name only. He wasn't really trying to hide his thoughts from Zenra, and he wouldn't know how to do so, anyway. The only technique he's actually aware of being psycic is his ability to manipulate atoms to do his biddings. Zenra was right on the dot, she knew exactly what was on Jin's mind. Jin nods, a slight sigh escaping him.
"...yeah, I think it would be best if I reclaim the FATES..."
That's when he heard the words of Vain, stopping his normal chain of thought and grabing his full attention. That's when he felt the earthquake, and the very planet he's trying to protect suddenly dieing...he felt it.
He turns from Zenra, hopefully she doesn't get offended, and runs out of Hogoromo and into the courtyard. His attention drawn by the crew, who lie on the ground in visual pain. Jin stops, not knowing what happened to them. He looks across towards the forest to see nothing but wilted death.
"What's...WHAT'S GOING ON?!"
One word came to mind, Vain. Jin clentches his fist, rage overlapping all other emotions. He knew now that he must reclaim the FATES, he doesn't want the world to die and the people to suffer. He shakes off the thought and trys to tend to the downed people. He knees infront of one of them, and sees a small bottle next to him, he picks it up...there was some liquid left inside. He trys smelling it, wondering if it was poisoned, noticing that it didn't smell like anything. That when he made a mistake that will most likely kick his ass later; in an attempt to figure out what happened to the crew, Jin took a small sip of the bottle to try to see what happened to them...it didn't taste like anything. He put the bottle down, while kneeling, looks towards Hogoromo.
"GUARDS! COME QUICK! BRING THE HEALERS!"
Jin's stomach rumbled and turned slightly...he started to feel a litle dizzy...maybe it was poison, but it shouldn't be anything that the healers couldn't handle...could it?
