The second, was that she wasn't laying on crisped grass but on something soft. She thought she heard voices, one familiar enough that her body tensed reflexively, the other totally unknown. She tried to move, to see how much damage had been done, but the exhaustion caused by the extreme draining of that last counterattack still plagued her and she flitted back into unconsciousness. She didn't know how long she had been there, nor how long she would still be there, but there was nothing she could do until she awoke completely and recovered some of her energies.
