Daughter? What the hell did that mean? The only one... Horror flowed through her as the thought struck home. This...this child was the result of what that demon had done to her. The thing he had taken from within her body, it had been an egg, and this was the result. A girlchild that looked lost without the demoness to protect her. The girl's wailing began to grate on her ears and she reacted as she would have with any child that was lost and bewildered. Stepping around Jin who seemed ready to drop if someone so much as breathed on him too hard, she gathered the girl up and stroked back her hair murmuring something soft and soothing. She would worry about the possiblities of this being some new form of danger, or a trap set for her specifically. The girl stopping wailing, but that was all, the fear/lost/alone feeling was still flooding from her. She didn't know how to stop that, and didn't want to get too attached to the girl, even if it was her "daughter". She flinched when Jin came up behind her and set one hand on her shoulder to tell her that they should continue onward, but stood, taking the child's hand. She couldn't even remember what the demoness had called her. Belatedly she saw Jin's exhausted condition and sent him a thread of her own energies to help replace what he had lost. As an afterthought she tied in some of the everpresent earth energies into the flow, that way she wouldn't deplete her own energies. Looking at him, she waited for him to lead the way.
