White light poured over the serpentine form, tearing from him one scale at a time. There had been worse pains in his life than this. This was only a sting. Scales floated into the air and disolved, each one lifted made him flinch. The huge fin like wings contorted and shifted as everything was reconfigured. Even as opaline eyes closed, he felt everything around him melting away into the vast expance of his heart.

The null magic over the serpent's form shifted, and ate away at the remaining scales, even as it too disolved away. The pain wasn't that bad...

Until everything had to shift. The huge expanse of vertibre that constructed the snake shifted within skin, moving back to their orginal places. Arms and legs reconstructed themselves in a matter of moments, the sheer force of it could have made him scream. Bones reformed, stretching and bending the shrinking body to their will as wings formed and grew. Left over scales contorted to silken feathers, laden with blues and purples and greens.

Then it was all over as quickly as it started. Where a huge serpent had once been was now a naked winged man with a handsom build and olive skin, wings graced in peacock colors. The look on his face was of complete shock with prismatic eyes opened wide, but it faded as his eyes rolled back, and he fell into a pile onto the sand, unconscious. Peacock wings splayed feathers before gaining that magical metal sheen to them.
