First it was the piercing pain in his tal that roused him, then getting slammed into the sand with force to nearly knock him back into unconscienousness. He knew who it was breathing over him with hot air, but he didn't stir.

That's all she was full of. Hot air. The Crystal Blimp.

That humming was still vibrating his ears, but it wasn't nearly as lulling as it had been before. Perhaps he would wait till the dragon dozed off...then maybe steal the girl for himself...and go find...her.
