She could crush his insignificant brain with one claw.....and would if she could do it without getting his slimy blood all over her talons. The bard lay forgotten in her other foreclaw, the spell of silence having disolved with her weariness and rage at the mind projected insult. The winged reptile hadn't bothered...or had forgotten to shield his thoughts. Perhaps the pain in his tail or the impact of his head against unyielding ground had jarred what few brain cells he had. Closing her claw without using it she turned and thwacked him with her tail to make him get up. "Get up you fool, what were you thinking sleeping on the wing?! If I hadn't caught your scrawny scaled hide you'd be floating with your slimy eel cousins! What were you trying to do, kill yourself??
