Darkness surrounded her, binding her to silence and stifling sensation, making her a prisoner to someone for a purpose she did not know. She had heard that there were others that had been deprived of touch, either due to spell or injury that caused them, after a time, to feel things that were not really there. Had she been in this darkness for hours, or merely moments? She didn't know, and she wondered if she was feeling phantom sensations, or if she was just going silently insane. It felt like a cat, large and furry rubbing against her legs. It was not a reassuring feeling, and the urge to kick and scream were almost overwhelming even though she doubted the scream would be heard or the kick felt. She could hear faint scraping noises, sound had been one of the few things that had not been denied her, and she strained her ears in an attempt to identify the sounds and figure out where she was. Silently (not that she could make a noise if she wanted to.) she called for Wyrd, and prayed that he would hear and be able to find her.
