Suddenly the stallion slid to a halt and reared, Aragorn clinging to his mane. Yrch! he yelled in the Elven tounge as an arrow narrowly missed his head. Orcs! Flee! Noro lim! Noro lim, Esgeleth! Gypsy's mare obeyed Strider's command, turning on the dime and dashing from the forest. From a black sheath at his side, Aragorn pulled a glimmering sword, runes carved into the blade. The gold hilt shimmers in the dull moonglow as it hissed through the branches, cutting down Orcs on all sides.
