He turns around and shows her the whip marks on his flanks. You can tell he was used to years of abuse. He nickers,seeming to tell his past. 'I have been abused for two years of my life. I grew up on a range with my mother and many others like myself. Then when I was ayearling I was rounded up and taken to a corral where I was broke. I had spirit then and was treated kindly and humanely. Two years later I was stolen, and sold to a caravan driver,who wore me down terribly. I was skin and bones, as I am now. I got only small bits of grass and straw, and lived in an overcrowded paddock. Then, after I was over-rested my owner raced me. I had no idea what to do, and he lost alot of human money on me. Then, he drove most of his horses who were worn out to a clearing. I thought he was freeing us, but he beat us terribly. Then,driving to various kingdoms, he dropped us off and left us in the dust, hoping we would die.'
A tears forms in his eye and helowers his head.
