The way i see it is that if you are a British champion then you should be proud of that and there is nothing you can do if the head coach doesnt want you in squad for whatever reason.The club from which a British champion comes from must be doing a good job and( how fab is it to beat squad members,) its not fair but sport is not generaly fair,to have such a debate just shows how we support someone who we feel has been wronged. However we must respect and support the national coach as rhythmic gymnasts are doing such a good job abroad at the moment. I hope any gymnast that doesnt achieve squad status will get to do internations arranged through their club. Good luck to all you hard working girls out there this sport is such a good discipline for later life.
