I hope you're right about AJ's death being a scam, and I'm encouraged by Sonny's apparent realization that there are definite parallels between what he did to AJ and what Alexis did to him. Not that I expect it to last. AJ probably faked his death, and his whole family and the entire town will have a new reason to hate him when they find out. And I'll be expected to hate him too (Jason-Sonny GOOD. AJ BAD), but I won't. I'll just keep wishing TIIC would see AJ for the potential force of nature he is. BTW, I wasn't hugely in favor of the Billy Warlock recast. I thought he was too short, too typecast as the wisecracking Michael J. Fox wannabe. But he really changed my mind. He plays AJ with a lot of complexity that just isn't there in the dialogue. No matter how unsympathetic the writers are to the character, I get the feeling that BW sees what I see.
