I haven't seen anything lately that made me think, wow, hooray, great movie, but I watched Underworld last night and enjoyed it for what it was... pretty. And my favorite werewolve movie since Wolf.

Swimming Pool - won't give away the end, but when I realized what was happening, I thought, well, then, why wasn't the middle better? First movie with an ending that made me feel dissatisfied with the middle, which I'd liked - until the end.

Scooby Doo2 - Samson loves the gang from Mystery Inc. I watched the first one a few times before I got the Shaggy as St. Peter thing (he denies Scooby, the Christ figure, three times). So far, I've seen the second one once (we will buy it once the local vid store starts selling used copies), but my favorite part was watching Samson sit in the theater like a little man, eating his popcorn without ever looking down from the screen.

Lost in Translation - not for everyone, but I thought it was sweet.

Holes - okay, I take it back - there was one movie that made me go wow.
