Subject: OLTL misses the ball on this story.... Author: Suzy Q [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 12:30:32 04/27/04 Tue Although I'm not a huge fan I do watch OLTL on most days just to pass the time, but I'd have to say that I was really interested in the story they were doing with Star and I was prepared to give oltl major props, until they completely dropped the ball and went the other way. When I saw Star communicating with an unknown person on the internet I thought wow what a gutsy story. They are going to have Star meet someone who she thinks is a kid but in actuality it some sort of bad pervert or worse case a child molester. Not that I wanted anything to happen to Star but I thought it would be a great story to teach parents that you really need to watch what they are doing at all times. After all it's happened in real life with kids getting kidnapped by people who they talk with on the internet and think that they are meeting someone else. But no of course not, it's just another plot for Todd and Blair to get together. Not only that but now we have to have Star's big adventure:(. That's great, one of the best things as a kid growing up is having your first kiss, but the actress does not even get to experience that with someone she likes, she has to kiss some actor, and have that be her first kiss.
