If you liked Underworld then you will probably like the predetermined summer blockbuster "Van Helsing" starring Hugh Jackman (oh sorry am I drooling..) and guess who Kate Beckinsale. She must have a thing for Sci Fi movies I guess.

Last movie I saw was Hidalgo starring Viggo Mortenson (damn here comes that drool again) It had a bit of a slow start but once it got going it turned out to be a really good choice.

I tend to go towards action adventure movies or romantic comedies. Speaking of I can't remember the last time I really was wowed by a romantic comedy. I love While you were sleeping, When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle, You've got mail, these movies I can watch over and over again. But I haven't seen one like it in years.

Thrillers or crime dramas are also a plus with me. But I have to say I haven't seen too many good one's lately.

I guess overall I have not been impressed with a whole lot of movies. Probably because the studios keep making movies like American Pie over and over again. I am really not liking the Ben Stillers and Adam Sandlers of the world because I feel they bring movies down.(They may be decent actors, but the movies they make don't showcase it to me.) Why can't we have intellegent comedies why do we have to see the same crap over and over again, or we have the teen movies where everyone is having sex with three different people. Am I supposed to care who they end up with? I know that there are smart writers out there, but if the same movies can make money then the studios will just continue to make that stuff. Or remake comedies that should be left alone. Whoa okay let me step down from my soap box now.

Didn't mean to go off there. I guess if I want things to change then I need to hurry up and enter the industry like I had planned originally.
