I remember one time when I was in college, my sister and I wanted to get a photo of ourselves taken to give to my parents for Christmas. So we set everything up. Well, my sister shows up at my dorm on the day of the photo shoot hysterical because my parents confronted her before she left. It seems they figured out that we were plotting something and (no lie here) were convinced that I was pregnant and that my sister was taking me to the hospital to get an abortion. And I was a pure-as-the-driven-snow Catholic girl.

It's calmed down since they stopped watching soaps. Now they just push the South Beach Diet on everyone.
