or just a case of natural parental paranoia where their girl is concerned? I've been watching soaps for a lot of years and I can't think of a single time they've actually had an impact on my real life (other than my father calling me an idiot for watching them I consider that his problem not mine he watched Springer for heaven sakes) There's a hell of a lot worse junk on tv for kids to get a lesson in life from than a stupid soap opera, real life news being one of them. As long as I live I will never forget having to explain to my 5 year old grandson that the plane that hit the WTC was NOT like in a movie e.g. Independence day, he thought it was cool, now THAT to me is reality not some silly ass over the top SL on a soap opera that the majority of kids couldn't care less about and would rather stick needles in their eyes than watch...jmo of course
