I'd have to agree with you holly, I was close to tears myself last night. When Fantasia collapsed I could tell that she was shocked that all the hard work had finally paid off and that her dreams were coming true. I'd have to say that the last two Idols have shown that people can root for each other. Ruben and Clay were the same exact way, and still root each other on to this day.
I was never a huge fan of Diana's mostly because she was too young, she had done the pagent thing, and I just liked others better. But she showed grace last night when she lost. Granted I'm sure she, as well as others, will be signed to recording contracts faster than you can snap your fingers, but it shows that people can be in competition and still be happy for the other person.

Now go put Samson to bed :)
