You can't have B/t on the same team anymore. The writers wrote themselves out of that with the DBL - they wrote a story about a man who took revenge on a woman in the most heinous of ways (and made sure to make it a memorable event by not even attempting to let the viewers forget what happened by replaying the DBL incident over and over and over again and then writing an entire story arc centered on the infamous lie) and cannot bring the two together without making Blair look stupid beyond words. I know the dream of some is to see B/t as Starsky and Hutch fighting the bad guys but I do think Blair's character is doomed in that sense. Anyway you cut it: Blair forgiving Todd is a character-killer. To boot, he's continued to mistreat her twice over: the fake mob hit, and now THIS.

Any "person in their right mind" should want Blair to have some back-bone and NOT be an "abuse-sucker" to the nth degree. Forgiving him IS abuse-sucking. As much as I loathe Blair and revel in her ironic abuse-suckerness, I would like to see writers DO something with this character they INSIST on front-burnering. Show some REASON she should be featured - a whole EPISODE dedicated to the most wishy-washy character in daytime? You've got to be kidding. I seriously don't get it - I don't remember any celebrations of ten-year anniversaries to any other character. Twenty-years, thirty years. Nope...not a one. Correct if I'm wrong.

What should happen with Blair from a Blair-hater's perspective? Kick Wodd to the curb and start over. The writers should sit down and decide who the hell Blair IS and start from there. They need to look at ALL her actions and see if they fit with the character they've decided to make her. Another thing: whatever character they choose to give her, it has to have COLOR...texture...I don't know if the actress is up for it...but lord knows this bland, quasi-saint, quasi-weeping-jus'wanna-be-wuved thing is boring and most certainly NOT deserving of such incredible airtime or front-burner-rage.

Ahhh me, the myTHteries of life. Carry on!!

I agree that it's abuse-sucking and that Blair's been lapping it up from every guy in town.Holly15:04:50 11/28/03 Fri
